Workplace Law provides comprehensive training and consulting support in the area of health and safety law and practice. Our expertise includes helping you to attain the OHSAS 18001 advisory standard in occupational health and safety, as well as providing a full inspection and auditing capability. Further information is available from our consultancy site.
We run three health and safety management training programmes, accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and by Workplace Law. We are also able to deliver training to meet the requirements of some courses under the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) syllabus.
IOSH training courses
The IOSH training programme is taught by Workplace Law's tutor team to an accredited standard set by the Institute. Study for the IOSH accredited programme leads to the award of a certificate by the Institute.
We teach four courses on the IOSH certificate programme: the IOSH Working Safely, IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Directing Safely, and IOSH Safety for Senior Executives. All can be run as public courses or run in house and tailored to meet your needs.
NEBOSH training courses
The NEBOSH training programme is taught by Workplace Law's tutor team to an accredited standard set by the Institute. Study for the NEBOSH accredited programme leads to the award of a certificate by the Institute.
We teach two courses on the NEBOSH certificate programme: the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and the NEBOSH Fire and Risk Management Certificate, with excellent feedback and high pass rates for each. Both can be run as public courses or run in house and tailored to meet your needs.
Workplace Law accredited training programme
The Workplace Law accredited training programme consists of 14 courses taught exclusively in house, specialising in one particular aspect of health and safety law and practice. To help you get the most out of them, each course will be tailored to make them relevant to the way your organisation works.
