This practical course examines the fundamentals of facilities management contracts, as well as looking at the standard contracts currently used, and their strengths and weaknesses. The course reviews the meaning of key contractual terms, and can be tailored for clients and contractors.
The course also covers the introduction of a standard Europe-wide facilities management contract and the effects of revisions to the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act which are likely to introduce new guidelines for payment and dispute resolution. Additionally, the course includes analysis of the very latest landmark judgments regarding commercial and facilities management contract disputes.
