This course will update employers and service providers on the very latest changes introduced under Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Part M of the Building Regulations, and other important legislation such as the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
The course includes an update of the latest case law governing access to goods, facilities, services and premises. It also previews changes expected under the revised British Standard BS 8300, ‘Design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people’.
