As an employer or manager you must understand the requirements of the Standard Dispute Resolution Procedures (SDRPs) or you will not only lose any unfair dismissal claim but also the award against you will automatically be increased by up to 50%. The SDRPs require employers to provide employees with written disciplinary and grievance procedures and to show that they are followed.
