Thinking green means putting sustainability at the heart of everything you do, from the start of the supply chain through to the point of delivery. Having an understanding of the requirements of environmental regulation and the risks of non-compliance can help you understand the contribution that effective environmental management can make to enhanced business performance.
Acting green means:
-
delivering on corporate sustainability in practice – improving efficiency by managing resources, carbon, water, energy and waste more effectively;
-
attaining the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and committing to continuous improvement;
-
integrating sustainability into management reporting and day-to-day operations; and
-
auditing environmental performance to ensure compliance, and protect brand reputation.

Not only do we help you identify areas for savings, but we also help implement Environmental Management Sysytem ISO 14001 – from carrying out an initial environmental review to company benchmarking, though to the compiling of necessary documentation such as legal registers, aspect and impact registers and company procedures. We also offer a number of Environmental training courses to help your staff engage fully with the intiative.
We also provide comprehensive advice on corporate sustainability, advising the boards of some of the UK’s largest companies on sustainable performance, assisting with the development of sustainability programmes and sitting on sustainability committees.
Our response team is there to assist you with environmental incidents and accidents, representing you in legal proceedings or in dealings with the enforcing authorities.
As environmental management becomes the fastest growing area of regulation, we can help you both fully embrace sustainable business practices, and also manage the risks of non-compliance.
