Following the success of our recent online redundancy webinar Workplace Law Training is running a half-day interactive seminar in central London to provide in-depth information on managing redundancy in your workplace.

The seminar is designed to help you understand all of the right steps you need to take before terminating an employment contract for reason of redundancy – as failure to follow the correct procedures can lead to unnecessary litigation and prove to be a costly error

Are you looking to cut costs by reducing your workforce including making staff redundant? Have you already made cuts, but are wondering about your legal responsibilities as an employer? Have you followed, or are you planning to follow, the correct redundancy process? Or are you concerned that you may be at risk of receiving an Employment Tribunal claim?

Workplace Law’s Managing Redundancy Seminar answers all of these questions and more. Recent figures from the Tribunals Service show that there has been a 43% increase in Employment Tribunal claims in the past year alone. Claims rose to a record 296,963 in 2007-08, largely as a result of growing numbers of employees being made redundant. The guidance offered at this seminar will save you time and money by avoiding the expense and preparation involved with employment tribunals.

Your questions answered

This session is limited to 20 delegates in order to allow you the chance to discuss queries specific to your individual organisation. This will give you a unique opportunity to have face-to-face guidance from our HR and employment law specialists.
