Companies and organisations are now fully responsible for fire safety management. A Fire Risk Assessment alone is simply the first step in the fire safety management process and is not enough to fully demonstrate compliance with the Fire Safety Order.

Businesses are now faced with increased ‘fire safety challenges,’ such as how to fully action the deficiencies identified from the FRA, how they will be inspected, and what will be expected from them. In addition, many emergency calls will be handled by regional call centres, but a majority of organisations are not aware of this fact and have not put in a safe system of work to compensate.
