Improved margins. Enhanced productivity. Greater efficiencies. Greener futures.
In a tough economic climate and an increasingly competitive market place, forward-looking businesses are realising the benefits of outsourcing non-core activities to specialists who have the skills and experience to help them achieve these goals.
In the specialist practice areas of employment relations, health and safety, and environmental management, with a 17-year heritage, Workplace Law is an outsourcing firm that delivers.
Personal service is the key to our quality-driven approach. Every client, and every solution, is different. We recognise the importance of a good working relationship to help us achieve results, and go the extra mile when we need to. We’re in it for the long run.
We’re also pragmatic, with service levels and deliverables targeted to deliver performance that matters to you. We reduced employment relations claims costs by 15% for one major client, and cut the cost of health and safety training by more than 50% for another.
Our industry experience is second to none, with a varied client base and a proven track record in commercial property, facilities management, education, pharmaceutical, defence, aerospace, transport and financial services.
Workplace Law consultants are highly qualified in their individual fields, having all worked as practitioners before entering consultancy. They have the expertise and subject knowledge to implement tailored solutions to support your corporate objectives.
Our outsourced consultancy services embrace four practice areas across the disciplines of employment relations, health and safety, and environmental management.
Support contracts help you plan ahead, giving you round-the-clock access to Workplace Law consultants throughout the year. Contracts are customised to meet your needs, providing a cost-effective fixed-price solution. With a single annual rate to pay, complete flexibility over the make up of your package, and automatic emergency cover, our annual support contracts ensure there are no unpleasant surprises.
Our compliance services are designed to help you independently assess your existing performance, recommend and then implement ways to improve effectiveness.
In our role as CDM Coordinator we also fulfil one of the roles specified in the Construction, Design and Management Regulations to assist clients and contractors with building and refurbishment projects.
Our strategy services include the provision of board level advice on key aspects of law and regulation, as well as the implementation of accreditation, recruitment and cultural programmes designed to improve business performance.
Our response services provide flexible case management support in follow up to accidents and incidents, or in response to unforeseen requirements.

In 2012 Workplace Law was asked to develop and deliver a property management-focused sustainability training course for BNP Paribas Real Estate UK. This is a branch of BNP Paribas bank, which provides a number of property services including development, management and investment of property portfolios across the UK.
Workplace Law was appointed in the final quarter of 2012 to assist Shelter with the implementation of an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS). Shelter wished to reduce its environmental impact, secure funding and make operational cost savings.
"In 2009 Chaps Ltd recognised that it needed to improve its health and safety systems. We changed our Health and Safety consultants to Workplace Law in order to give us a fresh approach towards our management of health and safety and to gain specialist construction advice.
"By using their expertise and experience Simon and Maria have guided us into developing a health and safety system that has achieved CHAS accreditation and given our customers and principle contractor’s confidence in our management of health and safety. They have always been available to offer advice when needed and to provide independent site inspections and audits which are often required by our customers.
"Both Simon and Maria continue to support Chaps Ltd and have become an important, integral part of our Health and Safety Management System."
Suzanne Jackson, HR Director, Emprise:
“Workplace Law has made a difference to the quality of the service we can provide to our staff. And because of the customised service from Workplace Law, the costs have come down.
“We’re now into the second year and we’re pleased with the level of service which is always turned around quickly with any queries being answered straight away.”
