Both points are useful, but otherwise we really need more idea on what the purpose, intention, and objective of the group is to give comprehensive advice.
If you can post more details about what it involves, and what your organisation hopes to achieve from it, will happily try to help further.
Each department should elect their representative.
One representative will represent a specific department or area
All representatives due for election will be elected each year.
Election only need be held if there is more than 1 volunteer from a specific department.
In the event that there are no volunteers the Head of Department should nominate a representative.
Representatives should then elect their own Chair and Vice Chair on an annual basis providing there is another volunteer, otherwise the existing chair will remain in post if the rest of the committee are in agreement.
Elected representatives will nominate a deputy to cover for them in their absence
Hi, I am trying to set up a consultation group for my organisation, it's a NFP Organisation and there are currently about 70 employees. I have never set up a consultaton group before and I was wondering if anyone will have tips on the process or on how to do this.

What are you consulting on? is it a general forum for staff to discuss anything they feel to be important?
