Now then, apart from being surprised that we didn't already have the benefit of such a centre it triggers another thought about the "built environment" and what has happened to these research centres of excellence ?
The credit crunch already presents a "real and present danger" as it continues to erode and breakdown the ordinary employees hope of improving poor occupational health in the 'workplace environment'.
One would, I don't know why, have some expectation that the collateral damage to our UK Human Resources would at least be of equal importance to the inanimate infrastructure of the built environment !
Perhaps it is just to remind the human resources that they had better fend for themselves in a 'YOYO' culture where without self-advocacy 'you're on your own' and that that and all there is about it................
