By the way Peter, you can upload your photo to the Workplace Law Network if you want to. Just click on the icon in the top left panel and you can replace the avatar with your own pic!

Actually Peter, just to clarify Andy's point, NEBOSH currently require a minimum number of hours of study as 129 hours. Normally, for a classroom course the minimum number of taught hours (excluding lunch breaks etc.) is 80, with 49 hours of "private study". This also excludes time spent on revision for exams.

In order to allow a meaningful hours requirement for distance learning, NEBOSH allow the classroom and private study elements to be combined, hence the minimum figure of 129 hours.

The NEBOSH NatGen course from Workplace Law requires 138.5 hours of study, but a small number of hours (6-8) are allocated to exam revision, depending on the amount of practice each student wants to put in.

Hi Peter, the intended number of hours you should be studying for is 138.5 hours, which is what is recommended by NEBOSH. If you would like any further information, drop me an email on andy.woodfield@workplacelaw.net or call me on 01223 431076.

I appreciate that this is distance learning so duration will be determined by the student but what is the intended duration in hours of study?

What a great idea, will it be FREE or will there be a charge, if so, how much?
