Solicitor pleads guilty to data protection offence

I think we should compensate every aggrieved person by a fixed sum (say £1K) ...... then get it back by increasing the tax burden. I don't know whether to call it robbing Peter to pay Paul or self-flagellation.

I suppose now we can expect to see prosecutions of the various government agencies tha have lost laptops with tens of thousands of peoples personal details on them ??? Doubtful doesn,t look good when the crown prosecutes the crown .
