one has to bear in mind that the point of the energy performance certificates is not to get accurate figures the energy performance of each domestic building, but rather to build up a picture of the performance of the housing stock as a whole www.easyepcs.co.uk

Whilst one welcomes the arrival of this Directive, there remain problems of how one measures the energy performance of a building. The RICS Foundation has been supporting research of/piloting into one method - and welcome any feedback. Pls look at http://www2.energyefficiency.org/homeuk.asp and let me know what you think....
