Today (2 May) on World Asthma Day, employers are being warned that they need to do more to prevent the rising numbers of people suffering from asthma caused or made worse by their work. Work-related asthma is the fastest growing occupational disease in the UK, costing employers 18 million working days annually and society as a whole £1.1bn over ten years.
