This is an intersting case as the implications are signifant for the hotel industry. Travelodge pleaded guilty after they failed to maintain slip resisitant brading in the bottom of the bath resulting in it presenting a slip risk when being used as a shower; this risk being realised when a guest slipped and suffered injury. The use of so called safety mats in baths can also be a problem. A few years ago I had a nasty fall when the slip mat moved as I climbed in the bath it was so old etc it no longer set up the seal. So take care out there.
