This is a bloody disgrace. Either there was discrimination or there wasn't. Settling out of court is more or less an admission of guilt by the Met. They should hang their heads in shame at not being able to defend this action. As should the officer concerned. Being undermined at your work is not necessarily racial discrimination. If racism is so deeply engrained in the organisation then how did he reach the rank of deputy commisioner in the first place.
