2. Intelligent Buildings: should fireproof lifts be used for evacuation?
   

   how do you seal the doors? constant traffic on lifts lead to doors becoming out of postion/alighnment - therefore comprimising the seal. I thought a Fire mans lift was the BS requirement - only controlled by the Fire Brigade from the ground floor
