Part timers' rights now in force

New rights for part-time workers came into force on 1 July 2000, giving part-timers the same rights as their full-time counterparts. The Part-Time Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000 relate to all part-time workers, including people who work from home and agency staff.
