Biography
Michael Brandman joined Tarlo Lyons as a partner in 1990. He specialises in property litigation: * advice and implementation of landlord's remedies for tenant default, including distress for rent, forfeiture and relief against forfeiture, statutory notices and fixed charge demands under the Landlord & tenant (Covenant) Act, section 146 Law of Property 1925, statutory demands under the Insolvency Act, applications for restraining orders; * advice on tenant insolvency, dealing with liquidators and receivers. Plus: * Preparation of draft legal agreements for property transactions, including leasehold & freehold transfers, licences , property development and partnership agreements; * advice on legal implications of property issues associated with estates; * commercial property development; * commercial property investment
