Biography
Jan Burgess is a solicitor advocate practising health and safety law in England, Wales and Scotland. Her client base consists of a large number of multinational companies, many of them engaged in the highly regulated oil and gas industry in the North Sea. Her recent experience includes a number of high profile matters - including fatalities both onshore and offshore. In addition to representing companies in health and safety prosecutions and fatal accident inquiries / coroners' inquests she provides regular advice on current and forthcoming legislation in this area.
