Biography

Lorna Cowie is a Solicitor in MacRoberts Employment Law Group. Lorna is experienced in advising employers and executives across a range of employment law issues including redundancies, severance packages, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance matters and discrimination. Lorna frequently assists employers with drafting and revising contracts of employment and policies. Lorna has also appeared in the Employment Tribunal. Lorna is a member of MacRoberts' Employment Law Group equal pay team which is currently advising 21 of the 32 Scottish Local Authorities in the defence of multiple equal pay claims and in the introduction of non-discriminatory pay and grading systems.
