Biography

Fiona Owens works as an in-house lawyer for BT. Previously, she worked as an associate in Bird & Bird's Commercial Department, where she specialised in technology, intellectual property and data protection law. She has worked on a wide range of technology and general commercial projects in both the private and public sectors, including large communications projects, internet products and licensing deals. Fiona has provided data protection advice to a number of organisations, including major communications providers, luxury goods retailers, football clubs, financial institutions and public bodies. Fiona holds an MSc in Information Systems.
