Biography

As the founder of fire engineering consultants Lawrence Webster Forrest Richard provides technical advice on a wide range of fire safety issues within the building industry. This includes new build and refurbishment projects for Architects, Developers and End User/Occupiers on projects as diverse as Educational Premises, Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Factories, Offices, Hotels, Retail Outlets and Superstores as well as many Heritage Buildings within the UK. Extensive experience has been gained on fire safety strategy development, fire growth, means of escape, smoke production calculations, smoke control systems, compliance audits, fire safety systems and risk assessment. As the Managing Director for LWF Richard is ultimately responsible for all fire safety related projects undertaken.
