Biography

Ainsley is an Associate in the Corporate Tax Group of MacRoberts and advises on the tax implications of company acquisitions, disposals and reconstructions, the tax and VAT aspects of commercial property transactions and employment related tax issues. Ainsley has experience of corporate tax compliance and planning work for a wide range of clients, from family owned companies to quoted UK groups, operating in a variety of sectors including textiles, unit trusts, property management and hotels. Ainsley also has experience of Inland Revenue investigations and VAT compliance work. Ainsley is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and is a part-time tutor in taxation at the University of Edinburgh.
