Biography
Martyn Shaw is a Senior Associate within the MacRobert's Pensions and Employee Benefits Group. Martyn joined MacRoberts in June 2000, having worked for a major UK life assurance company, where he was a consultant, advising on all aspects of occupational and personal pension regulation, compliance and administration. He currently provides legal advice to a number of well-known private and listed companies and to the trustees of their pension schemes. He also advises on employee benefits and on the pension aspects of corporate transactions and employment disputes. Martyn, in addition to his professional legal qualifications, holds the Chartered Insurance Institute's Financial Planning Certificate. He is also a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers, a local member of the Scottish Group of the Pension Management Institute and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in pensions law.
