Biography
Chris has been involved in health and safety law for 23 years. During that time he has represented a whole host of clients ranging from individuals to major enterprises. His present clients number among them a multinational company, major plcs, small and medium sized businesses together with individuals. He regularly advises clients on the health and safety implications of accidents, particularly fatal accidents, and has dealt with many inquests and prosecutions. Chris advises clients on strategies following accidents, particularly with regard to investigation and appropriate responses to enforcing authorities in efforts to avoid possible prosecutions. He regularly advises clients on the powers of the HSE and other enforcing authorities, including those relating to interviews of companies suspected of committing health and safety offences. Chris also advises clients on their health and safety documentation, including health and safety policies, and health and safety duties generally. Chris heads the regulatory unit at Rollits, which advises clients on all regulatory issues affecting businesses particularly in conjunction with the firm's established Food Group.
