Biography

Aidan Walmsley is a HR professional with 20 years’ experience in both strategic and operational roles, mainly in commercial sectors including Energy, Financial Services, Media, Engineering and Shipping. Aidan has delivered strategic and operational solutions in trade unionised environments managing employee relations, organisational change and redundancy programmes. He is highly motivated, commercially aware, with strong project management and facilitation skills. Aidan has also undertaken work with SME organisations, including operational advice and guidance to those organisations without HR function, training of management on matters such as handling recruitment and selection; disputes procedures and absence management; and managing learning within the organisation. Aidan is Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), possesses a Certificate in Counselling and Saville and Holdsworth (SHL) levels A and B. He has established a professional network group for HR and Training professionals in the East Anglia area. Aidan has primarily worked with Workplace Law on course activities, including e-learning support.
