Biography

Rob is a qualified Environmental Health Officer with over 20 years’ experience in occupational safety and health. Having worked as an EHO for five years, in 1993, Rob left local government to concentrate on providing organisations with practical guidance on their health and safety requirements, across a broad range of sectors. In various consultancy roles since, Rob now focuses on health and safety management, including development of policy and procedures, safety auditing and assisting clients to develop their training requirements at all levels. In 2008, Rob set up his own consultancy and now devotes his time between his own clients and working as an Associate Director for Workplace Law. With Workplace Law, Rob takes an active role in developing new services and working closely with the business development team to identify sector and clients opportunities. He also takes a lead on our executive training programmes, including the Corporate Health and Safety Briefing, IOSH Safety for Senior Executives and IOSH Directing Safely. Rob is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and is also a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
