Biography
Previously Head of London Casualty at DLA Piper, Mark joined Davies Lavery in 2006 as a Partner in the Accident and Injury Division. Mark is ranked as a leading defendant personal injury lawyer in the Legal 500 where he is listed as "thorough, knowledgeable, tactically astute, tenacious, and a complete professional". He regularly speaks at market seminars and contributes to the insurance press. He advises on the full range of liability claims, particularly EL/PL, catastrophic injury and large losses, inquests and fatal accidents, construction claims, occupational disease, and test litigation. Mark also heads Davies Lavery's Transport Team and advises on transport claims and issues affecting the motor, bus and rail sectors, including rail industry dispute resolution via CAHA and the RIDR Committee. He is experienced in claims issues including mediation, rehabilitation, fraud and malingering, auditing, policy coverage, run-off and exit solutions, and the implications of insurance insolvency.
