John Hedgecock has been working for the BWF for the last 15 years, representing the Federation in numerous technical and standards committees. John has also been asked to represent the United Kingdom on a number of European standards committees. John started his career as an apprentice carpenter, working for a family owned house builder who specialised in new build, alterations and additions. He then worked for the Timber Research and Development Association as a Structural Timber Engineer, before starting his own business as a building consultant. John is widely accepted as the leading provider of joinery and woodworking related technical consultancy in the UK.
