Biography

Chief Technical Officer Edward Wilding co-founded Data Genetics International (DGI) in 2002 and is an established expert in the field of IT security, intelligence management systems, fraud, computer crime investigation and computer evidence. He has investigated hundreds of diverse cases world-wide, including computer fraud, hacking, intellectual property theft, computer sabotage, blackmail and ransom, as well as high-profile investigations including a number of murder cases and hi-tech piracy. The pioneering methods and techniques involved have consistently established legal precedent in the UK and abroad. Wilding is the author of Computer Evidence: A Forensic Investigations Handbook (Sweet & Maxwell 1996) and Information Risk and Security: Preventing and Investigating Workplace Computer Crime (Gower 2006).
