We do it differently at Osborne Clarke. In 1998, we forged one of the ground-breaking European law firm alliances - Osborne Clarke Alliance - which is in the top 20 of Euro groupings and the fruit of more than 10 years' hard work in the European arena.
The Alliance numbers 600 lawyers in 15 cities. In 2000, Osborne Clarke opened an independent office in Silicon Valley, California, the first pan-European legal services provider to open for business in the USA's technology capital.
In 2000/01, the firm's turnover increased by 40%, we merged with McGuinness Finch, a London property boutique firm, opened in the US and refocused our European expansion, strengthening our presence in Frankfurt and opening an office in Cologne.
