New targets for recycling packaging waste

The DETR has published a consultation document spelling out the governments plans for reducing packaging waste. The proposals seek to increase the amount of packaging waste recovered from 52% to 58%, in order to meet the EU’s deadline for recovery of 50% of all packaging waste.
