The Green Paper on the future framework for single equalities legislation fails to remedy deficiencies in existing anti-discrimination law, the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) has said.
The Discrimination Law Review consultation document, A Framework for Fairness: Proposals for a Single Equality Bill for Great Britain, discusses how to produce a Single Equality Bill that is simpler and more effective at tackling disadvantage than the existing framework of discrimination law.
