The Local Government Association (LGA) has outlined proposals this week to fit microchips to household bins to measure waste and charge a handling fee according to weight. But would these proposals affect waste disposal for companies?
The LGA says no, and is reassuring businesses by confirming to Workplace Law that “the tax is for households only, so it shouldn’t affect businesses at all.”
