The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 set out the rules for workplaces regarding ventilation and temperature control. They apply to a wide range of workplaces and are available in detail from the HMSO website.Whilst the Regulations state that the temperature in the workplace should be at least 13C for manual workers, and 16C for sedentary workers, there is no maximum limit other than that "during working hours, the temperature in all workplaces inside buildings shal...
