The operators of a Glasgow plastics factory where nine people died in an explosion have pleaded guilty to breaching health and safety legislation.
ICL Tech Limited and ICL Plastics Limited pleaded guilty to four charges over the explosion, which happened at the Stockline plastics plant on 11 May 2004.
The blast happened after petroleum gas ignited in a pipe which had been corroding over the years. The explosion caused the red-brick factory to collapse, trapping people in the rubble. Surv... (277 more words)
