The number of cases of Legionnaires' Disease reported in England and Wales in the first six months of this year has risen by a third.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) says it is investigating the increase after it emerged that a total of 163 cases of Legionnaires' disease had been reported in the first half of the year, between January and June 2007, compared with 120 cases over the same period last year.
