Workplace Law reported on the one month anniversary of the smoking ban last week (1 August), and asked members to tell us their views on the ban. It would seem there is still much confusion over signage and smoking in vehicles that have not been ironed out after the legislation was put into practice. So what are managers and occupiers still concerned about?
A non-smoking office complained that they had to put up a sign, despite the fact that no-one had smoked in the office in 12 years.
