A finance manager at an Insurance Firm yesterday (1 August) told an Employment Tribunal how she felt she had been “ousted” from her job as group finance manager after she took six months’ maternity leave.
Lenka Sheridan, formerly of Alliance Insurance Management Ltd in Bury St Edmunds, believes she was secretly replaced by a male colleague, who was given a promotion to a director’s job she thought should be hers, after taking time off to care for her newborn son.
