Heyday lawyers: forced retirement claims should be able to await our verdict

Lawyers involved in the landmark Heyday age discrimination case are asking the president of the Employment Tribunal Service to allow retired people to lodge age discrimination claims pending the outcome of the European judgement in their case.

The move comes after an Employment Tribunal ruled that an age discrimination case could not be held on file until the Heyday result. This ruling, previously reported on by Workplace Law, was seen as a victory for employers as it would mean they would... (109 more words)
