A police sergeant from Bradford claims he was passed over for promotion because he is white, an Employment Tribunal has heard.
Peter Richmond, 44, had been an officer for 25 years when he was passed over for a promotion. Richmond claims this was because an Asian colleague was fast-tracked into the post, and he is now suing West Yorkshire Police for racial discrimination.
