The deadline for the Corporate Manslaughter Bill has been extended until the end of next week to enable both Houses to reach an agreement before the summer recess.
However, despite recent agreement between the Houses fuelling hopes that the Bill would receive Royal Assent within days, the extension does not guarantee that the Bill will become law and there is still a chance it could fail.
