A woman claiming unlawful age discrimination because she was forced to retire at 65 has been denied the right to have her case kept on file until the outcome of another legal challenge.
Mrs A Johns challenged the fact that she had been retired upon reaching the age of 65 by her employer, SD Solent Limited, although she did accept that her employer had followed the correct procedures and that the reason for her dismissal was retirement, which is a fair reason for dismissal.
