Law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Freshfields) is being sued by a former partner for age discrimination at an Employment Tribunal this week.
Peter Bloxham, 55, filed a claim with London's Employment Tribunal for discrimination after the law firm voted to change its pension plan. He claims the changes were made without adequate consultation, and that this forced him to retire six months before a planned departure.
