On 30 June the UK terrorist threat assessment went to the highest level (Critical) following the vehicle bombs in Central London and Glasgow Airport.
The Government states that the recommended response to the critical level is ‘exceptional’ with ‘maximum security measures applied to minimise vulnerability and risk’.
