Migrant workers in the UK may be at risk from illness, injuries or even death at work due to a language barrier and a lack of safety training, according to a report released by the TUC today.
The report, Safety and Migrant Workers, also contains a warning that some rogue employers are likely to be cutting corners and risking the health of their non-British workforce by not providing adequate safety equipment or clothing, for instance.
