Office technology: biggest energy waster for businesses

PCs are said to be one of the biggest contributors to an organisation’s carbon footprint.

According to research carried out by Gartner, the information technology research and advisory company, the average desktop PC wastes nearly half the power delivered to it. This wasted electricity increases the emission of greenhouse gases.
