A quarter of UK businesses may have inappropriate security alarm systems, according to Norwich Union Risk Services (NURS).
Out of 1,500 businesses visited by NURS advisers that had security systems in place, 25% had what is often referred to as a ‘bells only’ alarm system, which would not alert the police if the system was triggered.
