The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007) will not be annulled or amended, after much parliamentary debate over the potential burden placed on companies with no prior experience of construction.
The new Regulations actually became law in April 2007, but an Early Day Motion tabled by David Cameron called for the CDM regulations to be annulled over concerns that the increase in liability placed on small businesses may render them vulnerable to prosecution. According... (246 more words)
